I remember seeing the commercial for Precision's garage door tune-up special, and I kept putting it off. Well, I woke up Monday morning, and the battery in the overhead garage door unit died. I called Precision Garage Door Service, spoke with a representative who provided me with a same-day appointment, and a name and description of a technician. The technician, Justin Estrada, reached out before the appointment and confirmed his arrival time. When Justin arrived, he reviewed my concerns, inspected the unit, replaced the battery, and completed the overall tune-up so I could get to my job. My garage door has never been this quiet when closing! Justin also provided a quote for a future repair I am considering. Why the 5-Star Rating? Justin was on time, extremely professional, knowledgeable, and demonstrated a great attitude and enthusiasm for his job. Being in the service industry myself, it's refreshing and important to acknowledge and say "Thank you" for his service. I will be a returning customer and refer Precision GDS to others.

I chose this company because they were recommended by Liftmaster. Serveman was punctual, friendly and thoroughly checked everything with the mechanism. I love my new garage door! The old one was a very heavy, wooden door that was probably more than 50 years old! Precision efficiently removed the old door and replaced it with a beautiful new one. They did it all in about 4 hours. Great job!

Two months ago, I paid to have a garage door built and installed for my father. We were quoted a build time of a couple of weeks — it took two months. When the installer finally arrived, the lock had been left off entirely, which is the most critical security component of the door. When I raised the issue, I was told “not my problem” and the technician left without resolution. I was then forced to make an emergency trip to Home Depot to purchase a lock myself, just to ensure the home was secure. This company missed their quoted timeline by weeks and delivered an incomplete installation. Selling and installing a door without a lock is not only a major oversight — it is a serious liability. A customer should never have to source a basic security component on their own after paying for a professional installation. I would not recommend this company to anyone who expects accountability and a complete, professional job.
