I have been happy with the garage door since it was installed several years ago. I am very happy about the whole experience of having the door "tuned up" the other day. A gracious young woman answered the phone and set up the appointment. Excellent communication by a human being--a real pleasure in this day and age! The technician (Armando) was prompt, polite and professional, kept me informed of his timeline, explained the work and cost, and called me to say he had not turned the garage light off when he left. I am impressed and grateful!

Armando was scheduled to come service our garage door between 9-1 and he called just after 8 to see if he could come early which was perfect for me. He arrived at 8:30 and changed the springs on our garage door. He did a great job and was very professional.

I requested an appointment to give me an estimate on replacing a 1" crack in 1 of my panels. I get 2 quotes to replace the entire door which is not what I requested, Shocking. The excuse for not giving a price on the panel is that they could not identify the maker of the existing door. Its pretty standard so they are in the wrong business if you cannot identify a standard panel.

Lynda, We would love to replace your panel, but without a label to identity the manufacturer and date of the door, we cannot make an exact match. With many manufacturers and designs of garage doors we may pick something that doesn't match the other panels at all if we don't know the manufacturer. Also, depending on age certain designs may not be available anymore. We have even seen certain door designs have changed over time, and a panel for a particular manufacturer and design purchased today may not match that same manufacturer and design from even just a few years ago. So when matching panels it's important to know the manufacturer, year, and design if we are going to provide you with a panel that will match your door and make sure you are satisfied.

Miguel was out here to repair my gararge door within about 12 hours of my first call. He didn't try to oversell me with a new door, which is was I was afraid of. He completed the repair in about an hour, while wearing his mask and taking safety precautions.

My spring tension on my garage door broke a few days ago. I Set up a an appointment with this company. Armando Bacca a technician arrived between the times he was expected. Very professional and respectful. While inspecting my garage door I did not want to pay what he had first quoted me for. I believed it was a bit too much. Armando acknowledging I was a bit strapped on funds and did not want to leave me with a non operating garage door, came up with a few discounts. I was very happy that he was able to come with a lower quote . Then as we continued our conversation, he found out I was a retired veteran, he again began to work his magic and was able to give me a more lower quote! Actually my first quote was $460. With everything said and done, I paid $300 even for the parts ( Upgraded ) and labor! I must say Armando is pro military!!! I love it!!! We need more people like him. The appointment was scheduled from 2pm to 6 pm. The tech said he should be there around 5. About 630 pm he called and said he would be there around 730. I don’t think this is professional. I wasted a day waiting, I don’t think I will be working with your company for my three doors I wanted to buy.

I called Precision after seeing an ad in the Sunday Inland Valley Daily Bulletin. My 20-year-old garage door was noisy, only opening or closing intermittently and was very difficult for me to try to operate manually. I saw that Precision had AAA and BBB ratings and the reviews that I read were good. The people with whom I spoke to set up a service appointment were polite, professional and apologetic about a change of time for service because of an area change. The service man who came was timely, polite, explained the possible options and costs, and was extremely efficient in performing the needed service. He walked me through the operation of the opener, and was patient with my somewhat lack of electronics knowledge.

First, I want to say that everyone at Precision Garage Door was professional, friendly and really helpful. The new garage door is wonderful. Second, and this is why I'm giving you 3 stars, is the issues on the day of installation and lack of communication regarding the actual arrival of the crew. I had been dealing with Rafael, and the week of 7/13/26 I called to see if we could change the install date of 7/27 to that week or the following week. Rafael said not a problem, and we scheduled for 7/16. He called me the day before to say that there had been a medical emergency with one of the installers, so could we do it on Tuesday 7/21 between 8am - 12pm. They would arrive 8am -9am for set up. I received a reminder text on Monday 7/20 saying Precision would be there between 8am -10am. On Tuesday 7/21 I waited all morning. I called Rafael at 12:13pm asking for an update and ETA for installation. No response. I received a text from Precision saying the technician "is on the way". I called the Precision office at 1pm. They apologized and said they would reach out to Rafael to call me. Alfredo and Ethen arrived around 1:30pm, apologizing. They said they had been assigned to another location in the morning per Rafael, and then were told he had double booked, so they came here as soon as possible. They said that Rafael was supposed to call me and advise, and I told then he hadn't. They were deeply apologetic, and proceeded to install the door (they were fabulous and friendly and courteous and professional). It is one week later, and I have yet to hear from Rafael or Precision as to an apology or a personal thanks. Instead, I received an email asking me to leave a review. I hate posting "dirty laundry" as to bad behavior, but if this is how your company does business, I think people should know. BTW, I have another house that needs a garage door, but I won't be using Precision for that installation.
