First off, the person who answered the phone at Precision was a pro. She confirmed my reservation with a technician within 24 hours which I greatly appreciated. Secondly, my service technician, Justin Estrada, did an excellent job repairing my Chamberlain garage door that had come off its tracks. He arrived on time, quickly assessed the situation and presented a solution AND very fair pricing for repairing the immediate problem as well as two options for preventative measures. Above and beyond. His demeanor was very professional and he was extremely knowledgable about my door, and -- most importantly -- I could tell he really cared about his craft. He completed the repairs in less than an hour and explained to me in detail exactly what he fixed. I highly recommend Justin and Precision Door Service for any of your garage door repair needs. Over the years, I've engaged dozens of service providers come to my home toprovide various services as well as to repair appliances, systems, structural failures, etc. My experience today with Precision Door Services of SoCal was head-and-shoulders above any previous good experiences I have had. The technicians, Jose, and his trainee, Rene, were on-time, professional, courteous and efficient in their work. Jose did an excellent job explaining the process and fees. Once I accepted to have the work done after his estimate, he went out of his way to show me what was wrong and all the steps he and Rene were taking to fix the problem. I selected them both due to their high review rating and looking up their license on CSLB. From my first point of contact to schedule an estimate (Technician Armando Bacca) to the day of installation (Lead Technician Daniel Yracheta & team), I experienced kind, articulate, skilled employees. On the day of installing the new garage door, Lead Technician Daniel Yraeta & team were amazing! They were so well coordinated with one another at each point of the install. Terrible is what happened was the gentleman was supposed to come out and install a hinge, which was only going to cost me $39. Instead, he wanted to install new rollers and other items to bring the cost up to $700. So I had to pay a $164 for this work that involved tightening of the spring, which he told me that it didn't need to be tightened and putting in the hinge, totally ripped off a $165 for a hinge. But he said, since I signed the contract before he looked at the door I had to pay a $164, even though the spring did not need to be tightened.

The\nGentleman came out , looked at the garage door said that there's a service package. That will include fixing of the hinge and tightening of the spring that was before he did any work. Had me sign it off after I signed it off. He fixed the hinge, then he brought the garage door down halfway. And said, your spring doesn't need to be tightened. It is very good. The way it is, so I asked them, what do we do about that in regards that I signed a document to have the service done that. You said the spring needed to be tightened now. I find out you said it does not need to be tightened. What could be done? He goes well nothing. The document's been signed, I could go ahead and tweak it a little but it doesn't need it is good. The way it is, so I asked him, is there any kind of or anything else you could do now that I don't need the spring to be kind. He\n Goes well, you signed the document and I said, that was before you told me this. You told me it had to be tightened, so I said, go ahead and tweak it that cost me a $167 that I did not need to spend beware.

The work was well done professionally but I didn't expect when a call stating will be at your home within 30 minutes the person did not show up till an hour later. I do understand unexpected things do happen. Also, reading the handout guide about my new garage door and motor it better it the worker can show me. I was show how to use the remote but a person to person explaining how to do myQ camera would be helpful and show me the location of the camera on my Liftmaster. Another, the user guide myQ serial number and product serial number they should inform me about it so I can write it on my user guide book. The serial number is on top of the motor already installed too high for me to see. I am trying to set the clock on the wall button better if shown. The workers are in a hurry to go to their next job/appointment. Mr. Armando did ask if have questions. I do not know since this is a new Liftmaster until I experience what I don't know.
