I remember seeing the commercial for Precision's garage door tune-up special, and I kept putting it off. Well, I woke up Monday morning, and the battery in the overhead garage door unit died. I called Precision Garage Door Service, spoke with a representative who provided me with a same-day appointment, and a name and description of a technician. The technician, Justin Estrada, reached out before the appointment and confirmed his arrival time. When Justin arrived, he reviewed my concerns, inspected the unit, replaced the battery, and completed the overall tune-up so I could get to my job. My garage door has never been this quiet when closing! Justin also provided a quote for a future repair I am considering. Why the 5-Star Rating? Justin was on time, extremely professional, knowledgeable, and demonstrated a great attitude and enthusiasm for his job. Being in the service industry myself, it's refreshing and important to acknowledge and say "Thank you" for his service. I will be a returning customer and refer Precision GDS to others.

Totally professional service. Great communication. Called before arriving, showed up on time. Service guy introduced himself immediately. All I needed was some regular maintenance. Inspection and tune-up took less than 15 minutes.

I chose this company because they were recommended by Liftmaster. Serveman was punctual, friendly and thoroughly checked everything with the mechanism. Turned out the opener itself motor had burned out. They did not charge me for the service since they couldn’t fix it. I would highly recommend this company.

I love my new garage door. The whole installation and removal of the old very heavy wooden door was efficient and well done.

I love my new garage door! The old one was a very heavy, wooden door that was probably more than 50 years old! Precision efficiently removed the old door and replaced it with a beautiful new one. They did it all in about 4 hours. Great job!

Precision Door Services of Southern California is AMAZING!!! Our technician, Dylan F., went above and beyond from start to finish. He took the time to walk us through all our options and clearly explained what could be done for our garage door needs, no pressure, just honest expertise. He even installed a brand new garage door opener the same day! Fast, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about the customer. My only problem now is wondering why I didn’t call them sooner. If you need garage door work, ask for Dylan and Precision Door. You won’t regret it!

An overall good experience buying a new garage door with installation. The door is working great. I had planned to make interest free payments as the plan was presented to me, I was rejected after the installation, not sure why, FICO score of 842.

The gentlemen who came for the maintenance service were cordial and knowledgeable. They kept me informed throughout the entire process and explained everything they were doing to the garage door. They were not pushy at all, they understood exactly what I wanted and provided several options along with clear pricing. We also discussed future plans for the door, and they helped me understand which option would provide the best long-term value. I was very pleased with their service. They were extremely professional and truly an asset to their company.

I am so impressed with the Garage door design service! They helped me envision a door that perfectly complements my home's aesthetic. The team listened to my preferences and offered creative solutions I hadn't even considered. The final design is stunning and has significantly enhanced my home's curb appeal. A truly artistic and professional approach.

I specifically set up an appointment choosing a carriage door on your site and waited all morning for the tech to tell me you don’t sell swing out doors. There’s an entire section of your site about swing out carriage doors: https://www.precisiondoor.net/swing-open-garage-door Maybe you should update this. Kind of a terrible experience.

Two months ago, I paid to have a garage door built and installed for my father. We were quoted a build time of a couple of weeks — it took two months. When the installer finally arrived, the lock had been left off entirely, which is the most critical security component of the door. When I raised the issue, I was told “not my problem” and the technician left without resolution. I was then forced to make an emergency trip to Home Depot to purchase a lock myself, just to ensure the home was secure. This company missed their quoted timeline by weeks and delivered an incomplete installation. Selling and installing a door without a lock is not only a major oversight — it is a serious liability. A customer should never have to source a basic security component on their own after paying for a professional installation. I would not recommend this company to anyone who expects accountability and a complete, professional job.
