After two years of installing, the garage door started making a few noises. Decided to give it a tune up. Called the original installer and when they didn't turn my call, I called Precision because of their tv advertisements. Julian arrived and after confirming the quoted promo price, did a quick and thorough job of evaluating what was needed. Performed the tune up and answered all my questions including giving a few maintenance tips. Very friendly and very knowledgeable!! Will definitely call Precision and ask for Julian should I need any further service on my garage door!!

They tried to charge us $1500 to do 1 broken spring after over the phone saying it would be $200 per spring . Tech, up charged so much for unnecessary things. And when we said we didnt like the price they tried to charge us a $70 service call charge ? Shady business practice. Save your self and call a local handyman. We ended up getting the job done for $350.

John (Jack) Clayton arrived promptly to inspect my garage door which had a broken spring. Once discussed and cost estimate agreed, he immediately set about replacing both springs. Jack was superbly efficient and professional in carrying out his job. I should also add that he showed the utmost courtesy and respect throughout the task making it one of the best experiences I’ve ever encountered with a service pro!

Just had Jack out at my house this morning to install a jack arm motor on my garage. He started by giving me a courtesy call 20 mins before he arrived, and then arrived on time. He was friendly, and very knowledgeable. Most importantly, he was honest with me about my wants and need within my budget. I decided this is the guy I want working on my house. Once he got to work I felt comfortable leaving him to his work while I attended to other needs around the house. I’m very satisfied with my service from Precision Garage Doors. I cannot recommend them enough.

The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because of the pricing experience. I received an email advertising a $29.99 Garage Door Tune-Up Special, which included a 25-point inspection, lubrication, and adjustment of all garage door parts, with an expiration date of June 30, 2026. My appointment was on June 24, 2026, well before the expiration date. However, when the technician arrived, I was told that the coupon could not be honored and that my options were now $99, $469, or $1,395. Since the technician was already there, I chose the $99 service. What bothered me was what felt like a bait-and-switch. As a first-time customer, it left me questioning whether I could trust the company to be honest about future service recommendations and pricing. That said, I want to be fair. The technician was professional, personable, and completed the tune-up efficiently. I don't blame him for the pricing issue—that decision is on the company. The service itself was good, and my garage door is noticeably quieter now. If the company had honored the advertised special or clearly communicated that it was no longer valid before scheduling the appointment, my review would have been much more positive.

We called yesterday when a bolt on our garage door broke. We were able to schedule an appointment for service this morning. Jacob was right on time, found issues that caused the bolt to break, and repaired everything. We will definitely use them again if we need anything for our garage door.
