Colt responded to my rental property. Tenant reported a malfunction with garage door. Door was operating fine when Colt inspected it. Colt called me and thoroughly explained everything. Highly recommended! We called to get help with our garage door. They sent a technician the same day to check the issues. Armando Bacca, the technician, was very professional, polite and honest. After he did his inspections, he explained to us what are the issues and provided us with options. We ended up getting it repaired. Eric helped me out and did a great job. It was not entirely clear what was wrong with my garage door, and he tried a number of things at first to help me out that would either be free or not cost a lot. Unfortunately none of those attempts worked and so we ended up replacing the entire garage door opener and wall panel, which required a fair bit of custom work as my garage is small and has some other unusual size constraints. Eric was super helpful and got the work done fast, even though he needed to literally saw through a piece of metal. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone else needing service.

Both my remotes and keypad for my garage door opener suddenly started acting up - sporadically not opening or not closing the garage door. I thought they were the problem. I'm a handy guy and a computer geek at that, so after much troubleshooting on my own which included calls to the manufacturer and ordering new remotes (which also didn't work), I called Precision. After even more troubleshooting with Eric P., it was determined that the logic board in the door opener was faulty. Sadly, I was going to have to replace the garage door opener. Happily, however, Eric was able to do just that (surprise) and now I have a quieter opener than my previous one and one that's more powerful as well. Plus, the keypad and remotes all work great, I have WiFi access too, and both our cars can open the garage door! (Oh, did I mention that that was sporadically a problem too?). Eric was great, explained everything and was extremely helpful and professional. Lifetime warranty on the product (Liftmaster 8550WLB). Very satisfied. I'd call them again, though I hope I don't have to.

Tech was just was only interested in selling me a whole new door. Did not want to repair it. Said it was too damaged to be able to be fixed and could not guarantee repairs. It had mostly just cosmetic issues that do not affect operation (dings and dents). Tried to pull the wool over my eyes with his dismal diagnosis. I ended up fixing it myself in about 1 1/2 hours and did not even need to replace any parts. (my first time doing this). Door works just fine now. Go check it out and you will see it is all back together. and working fine.
