My technician Armando was amazing. Don't make the mistake I did of calling someone else first. I needed my torsion spring balanced and the first guy I found on Google charged $200, didn't fix it then ghosted me. I called Precision and they installed a new spring to replace my old one, balanced it, and helped me install my side mount garage door opener. He didn't leave until everything was perfect.

I had Precision install my garage door about 15 years ago and it has been reliable all these years. A few days ago I locked my "clicker" in my car in the garage and had to use the manual lock to open the door. I couldn't figure out how to re-engage the electronic feature and had to call Precision to help me out and to get a second "clicker". They sent Matthew who was absolutely great and had me up and running in a few minutes. He was professional and completely knowledgeable. Give this guy a raise! He's your best cheerleader! Anyway, I think if you are looking for a garage door company, give Precision a try.

Matthew installed a new garage door opener (with a belt drive) for us. He did a professional job with the installation. We were really impressed with his knowledge of the various brands of garage door openers. Since he comes from a family of several generations in this business, he could knowledgeably answer our questions based on his extensive experience. Also, we are impressed with the office staff (Tyler, Anthony) who patiently took the time over the phone to discuss the many options for us. Their knowledge helped us to make a good decision. The tech was excellent. My problem is that he didn't carry the spring I had, he only carries the most expensive spring. If I wanted the spring I had, it would take maybe up to a week to get it fixed. Why doesn't the techs carry all the springs instead of only the highest price ones. It forces the customers to buy the expensive one. Not happy. I feel ripped off

Due to power outage in my neighborhood, my car was badically trapped ib the garage. I was able to release the lock and open the door manually. When power was restored, I had difficulty in getting the lock to re-engage. I chose Precision Door because I thought I had been served by them in the past. However, I later learned that was not the case. Regardless, the technician came and showed me how to operate the manual release. Because no other work was required, Precision waived their service fee. I call that good customer service.

Initially I thought I needed a new garage door due to my visual inspection of the damage. Called Precision and when the technician Armando came, did the inspection, he informed me I did not; the damage was repairable. What I liked most and am complementing the expert customer service, the technician informed me the door was not up to code, so required sensors were installed; being an older door, they installed a "quiet motor." For the efficient customer service that I received, am highly recommending Precision for any garage door service that is needed.

Julian was professional and corrected the problem, which was a bracket installed incorrectly. This caused the bracket to rub on the cable that eventually broke after scratching the door. The warranty was only six months, and the door is six years old, so Precision charged $325.00 for the repair. Julian deserves five stars. Precision deserves 0, because they don't behind their work.
