Our Lift master garage door, which we got back in 2009, was malfunctioning. The main power button wouldn't turn on, and also sometimes the garage was opening on its own. Family friends recommend this company to us as they had a great experience hiring them to fix their garage. The technician came out early. His name is Garrett. He was very helpful, kind and informative. He answered all my questions. Garrett got to work immediately. Replaced the stuff, installing them and cleaning up after. He showed me how the system works, and I was very impressed. I recommend Precision Door Service.

the online website was the first key step in contacting Precision Door initially. High ratings, BBB rating, local and faces/names of staff. A live person picked up quickly after the initial business informational recording - a BIG plus for me as well. The fact that a tech could come out same day, at no extra cost - it was a no brainer to go for it. Then the real gem - Garrett!!! The Tech was just there to try to sell us a new motor. Garage door openers are very simple - in days past I installed and repaired several on my own. The door will not go down unless we hold the button until the door is close. This is a single door, very light and well balanced. I had installed new safety sensors, which are aligned properly. The problem is obviously an electrical on one side preventing that sensor from functioning. When the Tech finally understood that we were not going to buy a new $700+ motor - he said that if he was going to test the electricity it would have to be part of a $149+ "inspection". I will wait till I know my thinking is correct - but once that occurs - there will be an effort on my part to spread the word about Precision. This is quite frustrating, and others should be told.

Your quick ability to set an appointment for the next day, the friendliness of the person with whom I spoke, and the price all were part of my decision.
