Absolutely amazing technician, Armando. Since it was a rainy day I took the time to watch a true professional to about his job, it was a well choreographed ballet. Furthermore he was very patient to explain everything about the new garage door opening motor and all of its features. I could not recommend more highly not only for Armando but for precision door service for their attention to a minor service issue the following day. Five stars for everything!

Technician was good arrived on time. It was difficult to try to schedule the installation. Had to call three times and was told one time (at 2 in the afternoon) that the scheduler was gone for the day. On the day of installation the crew was good but they said I should have been told to replace two panels instead of just the top one. They were clean and efficient.

My installer was extremely professional and efficient. I was satisfied with with installation and overall process, but I was highly disappointed in the overall price of the job. I paid $800 for just a garage door opener and parts that cost no more than $350 retail. This means I paid $450 labor on a job that took about 2 hours. My garage door broke on Thanksgiving. I had to replace it the day after and did not have time to shop around for rates. I feel like the $800 price for just a garage door opener was extremely high.

We had a problem that kept re-occurring and it was really tricky to find out what it was. Victor was so patient --- he tried so many different things, plus he contacted another specialist who gave him suggestions as well. Turns out he had to re-wire the sensors, and now it appears that the problem is solved for good. Victor was very knowledgeable, described what he was doing, and was a great repairman. He was even able to come a few minutes early which really helped our schedule that day.

Armando provided good service. He was professional and up front about the charges. I was happy with his work, but disappointed with the cost of the services. I refused one recommendation to change one of my cables, because I knew the cost of the part, which was small compared to the cost to repair.

I called Precision because I was having trouble with my roller door popping back up when we tried to close it with our car/remote. My technician, Victor, came the following day and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He didn't try to upsell me on anything, but in the end, I decided to get a new garage door opener, and I had him replace all the rollers on the garage door. Prior to Victor coming, our door was very noisy and frequently would pop back up when trying to close it. By the time he left, we had a SILENT garage door that worked perfectly. I was so excited !! It had been very loud for 15 years. I will ALWAYS recommend Prevision Door Service when someone needs repair/renewal of their garage door or opener. Great service !

Last Friday,my garage door suddenly would only open using the master opener switch on the garage wall.Neither of my 2 remotes worked and the opener light constantly blinked. I chose Precision mainly because of all the great responses and comments from other customers.An appointment was made for Sunday AM . Alex Filipovic was the technician that came out. Alex was commented on favorably on Precision's review page and he didn't disappointing.Alex was friendly,candid and professional. He found the problem which was a simple reset of the garage door opener. It was a relief to pay a fair service fee,when you have visions of motor replacement costs or worse in your mind. I called Precision after seeing an ad in the Sunday Inland Valley Daily Bulletin. My 20-year-old garage door was noisy, only opening or closing intermittently and was very difficult for me to try to operate manually. I saw that Precision had AAA and BBB ratings and the reviews that I read were good. The people with whom I spoke to set up a service appointment were polite, professional and apologetic about a change of time for service because of an area change. The service man who came was timely, polite, explained the possible options and costs, and was extremely efficient in performing the needed service. He walked me through the operation of the opener, and was patient with my somewhat lack of electronics knowledge.

This is not a complain. The new garage door works perfectly. The technician, Jason Stanfield, left us remotes which controls the garage door. I live in a townhouse complex with a main gate into the inside driveway. The main gate is also controlled remotely. Unfortunately, the new remotes, even though each with 3 buttons, do not work for the main gate. Jason promised to look into it and to find something that works on both. I have not heard from him since. I understand that there may not exist such remote, but I would like to one way of another. I did email him a few days ago to northlaoffice@precisiondoor.net. I wonder if the that URL can received an email.

Years in business is always a plus. Lance was on time and very professional. Showed us all the products and asked if we had any questions. Nobody likes to be pressured into buying. Lance did not make us feel that way at all. We liked what we saw and made our decision.

Technician was good. Your phone service is terrible. Tina confirmed appt two weeks ago, and told me I was first for the day. I rearranged my schedule to ensure I was available at this time. No one showed for two hours so I called phone bank. They couldn't figure out the situation and "escalated" it to a manager. Finally three hours later a technician showed up. He provided service for literally ten minutes. I paid $90 for ten minutes service, and aggravation of trying to get someone to come out and do annual check up. You need to figure out your phone bank. I learned from technician that your call center is in FL and I'm in CA. Apparently there are no local offices and technicians work for themselves. This seems to be an unusual way to do business, and certainly is not customer or service oriented. I was told two of your experienced employees recently quit. I suspect it's due to your practices.
