We had a poorly installed garage door opener from another company two years ago and it recently had trouble closing. After a failed assessment and the problem persisting, Precision sent us your Tech Daniel Radcliffe to service our door. Daniel was a pleasure to work with and he and I tried a couple of options to try and maintain the previous motor and extend it's life. Unfortunately, after a couple of visits with some wire work and spring work (one visit at no charge), the door was fine for a couple weeks and then the problem returned. Daniel concluded that the motor had just been overworked and was finished. Our new opener works great (and installed correctly) and I would like to thank Daniel for his time and professionalism with our situation and his willingness to work with us to try and save and maintain the previous opener. Daniel was very prompt and extremely knowledgeable in determining the problem with my 20 year old Lift Master. After determining the cost to repair, I told him I wanted a new unit that he brought the next morning and had installed in less than 2 hours. The door opener works great and will easily outlive me. Due to a broken spring, our cars were trapped in the garage. Could not open door even manually. Called Precision at 11:00pm on a Friday night, and made an appointment for 8:00am on Sunday morning. Jaysen was here right on time. He was very knowledgeable and efficient. He changed the springs and serviced the door within 90 minutes. I was very impressed with Precision. Excellent phone staff and Jaysen was a credit to the company.

The technician arrived within the scheduled time frame that was given to me by the dispatcher. The technician explained the three options that would be available to accomplish the job. The repair/replacement job was done to my satisfaction although I think the total bill was very expensive

This company was called to help clean up the mess that another company did. Mike Bernhardt was the technician and he did a great job. He was patient in explaining what had and hadn't been done. He worked in a very professional manner and I would definitely call this company again. Tried to leave a similar message on YELP but could not get on.

In all said when done, I'll give it a 4 star rating. Oct 2014 - Was refer by a friend living in the same complex. Was told the it needs to be replace, can't say price was reasonable but had it replaced. March 2015 - door won't close due to sunlight issue, came in and took care of it. June 2015 - door rolling down faster and landing hard, ended up have a service and replace all and lubricating all hinges as it was not part of the installation back in Oct. I would have thought that while replacing the the equipment, they would also check on it, though that wasn't the case. Sept 2015 - door will not close again, tech came in and said the sensor had tilted down hence door won't close and a service call charge of $50. I ask for a waive of charge, told not possible, while after a few minutes of talking, tech said he'll call the office. Having to leave for a meeting, said I'll pay but under protest and I've also refer my neighbor in the same complex. Finally, I was given a 100% discount. Must having to express your dissatisfaction of service and the fact that I will not use your service again be the course of management? Didn't have to come to this. May they should have someone in service call trouble shoot first before accepting a service call.

The repair man was an hour early from the appointment time. That was a good thing. He provided me with repair options clearly and then move forward with the repair. All was done in good order, except the limit range on the door was off. Even although he had previously told me his company didn't work with the Genie motors as Genie would not train Precision technicians, he worked on the motor and limit range until it was fixed. A satisfied customer has been earned.

i can always count on precision to come in a prompt manner whenever i have called. i started using them several years ago when i had a problem with my door not closing. it was around 9 o'clock at night & i checked the yellow pages for someone who had 24 hr service. i called them & within 30 minutes they were at my home repairing several items. i have used them ever sense.
