Sam went beyond the call of duty - he balanced my 30+ year old garage door and spent considerable amount of time making sure that the garage door opener system was operating properly. Sam was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and willing to work with my budget as I have to replace my garage door opener in the very near future and the hardware at a later time. Great customer service! Our serviceman Mark was very professional and helpful. He came quickly to our home and performed maintenance on our garage door opener that malfunctioned due to a recent blackout in our area. We appreciated him telling us about a new type of garage door opener that has a backup battery system that allows the door to keep working even when there's a blackout. We told Mark that we will buy this from Precision Door Service and have them install it in a few months.

I always choose carefully whether it's what vitamins to buy or which shoe company to support our whether our not the owner of a restaurant treats their employees right... I actually do research stuff like that. precision door got good reviews, & I noticed that their website said something to the effect of "don't just rush out & replace your existing door. let us inspect it & see if it can be repaired." (I'm paraphrasing, but that's the gist of it.) that kind of thing really resonates with me. that's integrity. when mark the technician showed up, he was professional, but cool & personable. he was patient & informative... truly helpful. he found that he could indeed fix my garage door without replacing much of anything. once he got the parts, he had my door opening & closing itself in no time. I highly recommend these folks.

Very Satisfied - I called Precision at 7:30 in the morning because my 24 year old Garage door broke that morning, locking my car inside! They showed up within 1.5 hours, and got the broken door open, allowing me to remove my car. Because of their professionalism, knowledge, and help, I bought their top-of-the-line new garage door, and it will be installed within 10-14 days. Based on my first interaction with Precision, I'll happily give them 5 Stars.......Thanks !

Trevor explained everything to me. Never tried to over sell me anything. He did a Super Great Job. I call 4 different 24 - 7 repair places and Precision was the only place that had a real person answer. All the others had no answer or leave a message, still have not heard back. Plus Precision sent a email with pictures of the tech persons. Can't say enough good things. PS. They came on a Sunday.

Tony Palmer and his helper overhauled our garage door which had broken springs, failed door rollers and failed center bearings. The door runs smoothly and quiet. They did a great job!

Originally, I was very upset that the call center booked me yesterday for a same day service but the tech had to reschedule for today. The tech ( I think it was Tony) tried to reach me; he reached me an hour and a half into the waited time to reschedule. I seriously thought about cancelling and sending my work to someone else. I think Tony got an ear full from me yesterday but he was a good sport of hearing it on behalf of the company. Realizing my unhappiness, he moved it from an afternoon appointment to a morning one. Tony,showed up and gave me great service. I needed Precision because I I had tried to reprogram one of my remotes on my own and erased everything. Tony was very knowledgeable and showed me how to reprogram everything: the cars, remotes and box. Many places, including Sears, don't do cars: Precision does. Tony was so good that I ended up fixing rollers in addition to re-programming my opener. By the time he left, I was contemplating buying a new door and motor when they go out. Usually, when a garage fails, you go out and grab the first motor and repairman. That's exactly what I did the last two times. Tony spent a lot of time during the service to show me why buying a higher quality motor and door from Precision would save me lots of money from the inferior readily available products. I don't know if the other techs in my area are as good as Tony. Tony made a very angry customer into a happy, satisfied customer. At first, I was apprehensive that Precision looked like a big chain company on the website. Because the reviews seemed good, I took a chance. Now, I had a chance to get service from Precision and realize being big had its advantages. I got great client service of what you would expect from a good mom and pop repair place with the advantages of a larger infrastructure that can offer a larger range of services and products.

Precision is a good company however they are expensive. They replaced the limit switch on my garage door opener and charged me $145 for a small inexpensive part and 10 minutes labor. I like the company and their technician but I think that price is excessive. They have you in a vulnerable position when you garage door doesn't work and take advantage of you. I have no problem with fair pricing but that is not fair.

I had technician Tony Palmer, and he was very honest and explained exactly what was wrong with my door and how much each option would cost. He worked quickly after I agreed to have my garage door fixed. So far after a few hours it is working nicely. I hope it lasts, and I did get a three year warranty.

The installer came to my house first thing in the morning to take my old garage door off. They came back to install the new garage door. Great job. Quick, efficient. The technician (Victor) needed 2 parts to repair my garage door opener, and he had both of them in his truck. 30 Minutes, and done! Reasonable charge, too. Victor was friendly and knowledgeable.
