Precision Door is a thoroughly professional and reliable provider of garage door services. The appointment scheduling was friendly and efficient (next day appointment), confirmation was by both email and text, andthe day of the appointment the technician texted 30 minutes priir to arrival with his picture and a short bio. Dylan was our expert technician, and he was both courteous & professional - clear in the service options for our issues, and completed the work quickly but very thoroughly. We could not have asked for a better customer experience!

My husband paid over $1800.00 for a garage door opener and new spring! (Is this the going rate for servicing a garage door?) He was not given a sales receipt itemizing the items nor was there any documentation of the purchase showing the purchase date or information on whom to contact for warranty service. And, although the opener says 'Linear'. the paperwork says 'NICE'. I'm not sure who services this opener. BTW-the opener has only a small light which barely lights the garage and the remote operates only in a small distance from the door itself.

For decades Ive done business w the Precision Door franchise servicing the West San Fernando Vallay. Ive always been satisfied w the previous franchise and now with the present 19 yr old franchise. They are prompt in showing up, knowledgable in their analysis & installation. They dont try to sell a service that you dont need. Today I had a weather strip bar ( rubber & metal bar) installed and the work was done skillfully by a personable serviceman Jacob McD. Well done and reasonable $.

Great Servise! recently door opener not able to open Tech guy arrived open with key yet no able to open suggested view electrical panel checked said all good proceeded to break garage gain entry checked power dead left garage open suggested call Electrical person. Friend en came over check electric panel breaker off put back on all working perfectly Paid Precision Doors over $300.00 for break inn and repair break inn parts If Precision had known to identify Breaker had tripped and flip to turn power back on these costs avoided Shamefully you do not stand up to your claim on this situation as listed above Tech person unable to identify breaker yet quick to create expense not required After this type of abuse not acceptable suggest train Techs to check beaker prior before creating costly work and take advantage of retired handicap senior's not able to check Electrical box great services from PRECISION in the past this service failed waste of valuable $$ for seniors

I had a very disappointing experience with Precision Garage Door and feel it's important to share. Great Team, But Terrible Communication and Scheduling. I want to start by saying that my salesman and installers were great – professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They did a solid job with the installation, and I appreciated their work. However, the overall experience was seriously impacted by poor communication and scheduling issues. When I placed my order, I was clear about making sure they would not cancel my appointment. Getting clear updates from the office was frustrating. I had to follow up just to confirm my appointment, and even then, they assured me that my scheduled install was good and even got a confirmation. The day before I get a call to inform me they needed to cancel as the door did not arrive. An inconvenience, as I had to reschedule for another day. It often felt like no one was actually managing or coordinating the process, which made the experience stressful and inconvenient. For the new rescheduled date, I was told and sent a text message confirming the Installers would arrive during a specific window, but they were one hour late. Although, I was compensated for the cancelation and they upgraded my door, their customer service needs major improvement. Precision Garage Door promotes itself as a professional and customer-focused company, but the lack of organization on the back end tells a different story. It’s unfortunate, because the people doing the actual work were great — but the company really needs to improve its communication and honor its commitments when it comes to scheduling. I’m not sure I’d use them again based on this experience.

When we lived in Malibu, we were scammed twice by men pretending to be from a garage repair company. They charged exorbitant prices and didn't do good work. Finally a neighbor recommended Precision Door Service and now our worries are over. I will never use any other company. I am totally confident that any technician who comes will be qualified, honest, friendly and fair. Jacob came recently when our door wouldn't close. He fixed the door quickly, straightened parts of the metal that were bent and sprayed all the rollers and joints. My bill came to $99. Precision Door Service is a stellar company that everyone should use.
